John Alan Birch BA (Hons) in illustration, was born in 1986 on the Wirral and has enjoyed drawing and attempting to paint since an early age.

Arty stuff includes bookmaking, drawing, painting, some printmaking and the occasional photograph.

Inspirations are vast but here are a few: Tom Gauld and Simone Lia, Jeffrey Brown, Jen Collins and all the folk from Dundee Illustration 08.
